😎 Storyletter #4 - Start small, win bigWhile we would all love to make big changes in our lives immediately, it is the smallest steps that have the biggest impact. We want to write a book, become better, run more, be healthier but we commit to the end goal instead of the start goal. Don’t lose 10KG, have one less cookie. Before you have abs, start with 10 pushups. For me, it’s writing every day, reading every day, walking at least 10K steps every day. What will be your small habit? In today’s storyletter: How to improve your pitch faster Update about workshops I’m not going home

🥳 Pitch in 30 secondsPitching an idea is always tricky. For most it might be scary, hard to measure, but have we practiced the pitch? Before you go on to your next pitch, here is a quick tip to help you improve fast and feel comfortable. Open your camera, yes, on your mobile phone, record 30 seconds without thinking about it. improvise the pitch you would like to share with your audience.Watch it, record another one with slight improvements. Watch it again and keep changing. Try repeating this process five times and let me know how it goes. When it is documented, written or video, it becomes easier to improve specific words, intonation and vibe. It will also help you ensure your message becomes clearer every time.Do it 20 times, and your pitch will never be the same.

🫣 Life will never be the sameCoffee meetings are a huge thing in Australia. They love their coffee, especially in Melbourne. But what's truly interesting is their networking mentality. Almost every meeting generated a few more introductions, without me even asking.one by one, more people are joining my cause, thanks to you. I want to acknowledge your support. Thank you to everyone who decided to join this newsletter, this journey. I have made the decision to keep going, see if I can truly teach a million people how to become better storytellers.I do not know where home will be in the next 12 months, where I will speak, live, work or write my next novel but I'm excited for what’s to come.Happy to share we are working on the final draft of the book, so expect pre-order and launch dates coming soon.I’m starting to think about next steps, building a community of people, ready to spread the word, helping people craft stories before they design. They say a thousand true followers is power, and we need power to get this revolution off the ground. If you know of someone I should meet, help, connect with, please feel free to introduce me.*in the pic: a lovely forum session on a boat.
