Mind the brand
Know who you are first

From cyber, event planning, defense tech, to family offices, I’ve had the opportunity to create winning pitches for so many different types of companies across various industries.
Remember this: people are the same.
I’m really enjoying these days. With so many new things happening, I feel grateful for all of you—for being here and supporting my journey.
I have one small ask: believe in yourself just a little bit more.
Write. Measure. Document.
Know that you are a rockstar.
This is a reminder I give myself often, and after a few conversations with friends this week, I want to share it with you too:
Craft your story. Choose your words carefully. They will shape your story, your future, your legacy.
Let’s go
Winning the brand over

Don’t lose it, use it
I was close to losing it—the session, I mean.
Ten people around the table. A one-day branding workshop. And the owner was losing his cool.
I could see him, head down, doodling on his page. From the amount of blank space left, I figured I had five or six minutes before he filled the page—and blew up the meeting.
I’ve worked with him before, I know his partners, but this time was different. Bringing ten of their top people—each the best at what they do—and getting them to agree on a brand identity? I could feel the pressure.
I was listening, thinking, reflecting—while watching him fill the page.
When he finished, he exploded: "What are we even doing here?"
He kept circling back to marketing ideas, price points, small tactical moves—but never once touched the most important thing: what makes them unique.
Your lack of brand is killing you because it forces you into tactical decision-making.
You focus on surviving another day instead of building for the future.
The first time I met this brand was in 2019. Since then, much has changed—the brand, the market, the world.
This session was meant to revisit who they are, where they want to go, and how they plan to get there.
More than just declaring a new vision, we wanted to map the gap—where we are now, where we want to be, and how to close that distance.
Spending over five hours with a top team and guiding them through this was exhausting—but so worth it.
Now, a question for you:
🔹 Where do you want your brand to go?
🔹 Where are you now?
🔹 What’s holding you back?
🔹 And what’s the first thing you need to change?
Think of it like getting in shape.
You know where you are. You know what you need to do (eat differently, exercise, save money). The real magic? It's always in the next smallest step.
In next week’s edition, I’ll show you why brand building needs to be an ongoing, living process—so you stay ahead instead of playing catch-up.
Let me know what you thought of this exercise. It’s part of my next book, and I’d really appreciate your feedback.
Being the best is not a destination; it’s a lifelong goal.

Is taking a break also work?
Six workshops, over 40 meetings, and zero new YouTube videos—the visit back home is proving to be quite a challenge. Writing is harder, with so many moving parts, and I’m enjoying myself. I'm constantly reminded how important it is to have downtime, not just work.
This visit has been more about figuring out if I can balance work and life here, in my home city. At the moment, the simple answer is no, I can’t.
The next thing is how to amplify my work, and my decision was to hire a project manager. She will help me understand, delegate, and launch new projects. The first one will be a relaunch of my website. While many authors and speakers use their website more as a calling card or a landing page, I want to offer real value.
The next project we’ll focus on is scaling this newsletter. My plan is for her to help me free my time and scale. Would love to hear your thoughts—last week was so wonderful 😊—what is your one struggle in scaling your business right now?
